Speed's father, Pops improves and rebuilds the Mach 5 engine.
Thieves steal the plans but Trixie recovers the plans.
Speed enters a race to win the prize of $5,000. Pops hides the plans in invisible ink on the Mach 5 windshield.
2. "THE GREAT PLAN" PART 2
The race continues. trixie drops a smoke bomb on the thieves.
Speed rescues fellow racer from a volcano. The Mach five is recovered from the thieves.
3. THE CHALLENGE OF THE MASKED RACER PART 1
The masked racer has won just about every race. Pops tell Speed about his older brother who leaves home after an argument with Pops. Slick racces against Speed Racer. The masked racer warns Speed to not do the race.
The race begins. Rex is injured. Speed tries to help. they continue the race with Speed winning first place followed by Rex.
Flash back to Rex leaving home. Trixie searches for the Masked racer. Criminals try to steal the Mach 5. The race is on and Racerx to the rescue.
Mr Klepto and Speed are captured. The hidden engine has numbers that reveal the where abouts of hidden gold.
7. THE RACE AGAINST THE MAMMOTH CAR PART 1
The Mammoth car enters the race. Gold bars have been stolen and are believed to be hidden in the car. Rex enters the race to over look Speed's safety
The Mammoth car hunts down Speed Racer and causes the Mach 5 to crash into a lake. Speed Racer and Trixie are captured and then rescued by Racer X. The Mach 5 and the Mammoth car tie the race but in the end of the race the Mammoth car crashes and the gold melts.
The Alpine race. Rex warns Speed Racer of the dangerous acrobatic driving team. They have a hidden device that helps the car to jump over an abyss.
Both Speed Racer and Racer X enter the race.Bad weather and landslides slow the race. The Mach 5 brakes are about to fail. Trixie flys a helicopter to rescue Speed Racer
11. THE MOST DANGEROUS RACE PART 3
Speed Racer loses his eye sight. To continue in the race Speed follows the sound of the Racer X car. Rex has an accident and brakes his leg.Racer X and Speed team up and continue the race. Racer X becomes Speed Racer's eyes and together they win the race.
